श्लोक 6 . 9

सुहृन्मित्रार्युदासीनमध्यस्थद्वेष्यबन्धुषु ।
साधुष्वपि च पापेषु समबुद्धिर्विशिष्यते ॥ ९ ॥

शब्दार्थ

su-hṛt — to well-wishers by nature; mitra — benefactors with affection; ari — enemies; udāsīna — neutrals between belligerents; madhya-stha — mediators between belligerents; dveṣya — the envious; bandhuṣu — and the relatives or well-wishers; sādhuṣu — unto the pious; - — as well as; ca — and; pāpeṣu — unto the sinners; sama-buddhiḥ — having equal intelligence; viśiṣyate — is far advanced.

मनुष्य जेव्हा प्रमाणिक हितचिंतक, सुहृदय, तटस्थ, मध्यस्थ, द्वेषी, मित्र आणि शत्रू, पुण्यवान आणि पापी या सर्वांकडे समबुद्धीने पाहतो, तेव्हा तो अधिक प्रगत किंवा विशेष मानला जातो.
