समन्वित: पितृभि: सप्रजेशै: ।
ययौ स्वधिष्ण्यान्निलयं पुरद्विष:
कैलासमद्रिप्रवरं प्रियं प्रभो: ॥ ८ ॥
शब्दार्थ
- — he (Brahmā); ittham — thus; ādiśya — after instructing; surān — the demigods; ajaḥ — Lord Brahmā; tu — then; taiḥ — those; samanvitaḥ — followed; pitṛbhiḥ — by the Pitās; sa-prajeśaiḥ — along with the lords of the living entities; yayau — went; sva-dhiṣṇyāt — from his own place; nilayam — the abode; pura-dviṣaḥ — of Lord Śiva; kailāsam — Kailāsa; adri-pravaram — the best among mountains; priyam — dear; prabhoḥ — of the lord (Śiva).
भाषांतर
After thus instructing all the demigods, the Pitās and the lords of the living entities, Lord Brahmā took them with him and left for the abode of Lord Śiva, known as the Kailāsa Hill.
तात्पर्य
The abode of Lord Śiva, which is known as Kailāsa, is described in the fourteen verses which follow.
